Fairways of Grand Beach is a recently renovated 5 bed, 2 bath home in the quaint village of Grand Beach, MI. The house is situated on a large lot, high on a sand dune that overlooks the 6th fairway and park area...just two blocks from the waves of Lake Michigan. Guests enjoy two large decks, a year-round 8 person hot tub, 8 chair fire pit and a four person golf cart in season (May thru mid-Nov). The golf cart can be used on the 9-hole public course right in the village as well as on the streets. The property is very private, on a secluded street and fully stocked for a great stay. It's a great place to enjoy some down time in an idyllic village in the heart of Michigan's "Harbor Country."
The house itself is a 100-year old cottage that was completely updated in 2021. A major consideration in the renovation was to keep the charm of the original structure. Guests will be immersed in the cottage feel with tongue and groove ceilings, original bead board on the first floor and newly refinished original pine floors throughout the home. Windows, windows, and more windows overlook the expansive wooded lot from the first floor.
The furnishings are higher end and comfy -- mostly Ethan Allen and Crate & Barrel. Custom knotty pine cabinets are throughout. The home's heating, air, electric, water heater, roof, appliances and TVs are all new. The heating and air conditioning unit includes a bonus air scrubber that fights viruses. Other amenities include 200mbps high speed internet, 125 tv channels, gas fireplace with remote start, and a Weber gas grill.
The space is ample and rooms are large. You can enjoy being together or spread out as you wish. Kitchen is well stocked. Washer and dryer on premises. This house has an amazing happy vibe. Rooms are large, ceilings high and space expansive so guests will not feel cramped. The outdoor areas are pure relaxation with comfy chairs and a great setting. The fire pit area has 8 brand new comfy Adirondack chairs. You'll long to return after hearing the waves crashing and feeling the cool breezes off Lake Michigan just a few blocks away.

Grand Beach has two small beaches within the village that only residents and guests can use. In addition, we have a basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball court and playground. The village has a 9 hole golf course a 1/4 mile from the house and the golf cart can be used both on the course and for getting around the village.

Simply put, RAR is straight out of Northern Michigan with its decor. Very laid back atmosphere. Come for the decor and stay for the meatloaf and ribs. Good stick to your ribs food.
